The nasal sensory innervation is important to know to make a good local anesthetic infiltration rhinoplasty.
motor innervation
muscles lining the nose and adjacent areas and are responsible for their movements receive their innervation VII cranial nerve (N. Face).

innervation
or sensory function of nostrils regards olfaction at bulb and olfactory tracts dependent cranial II.
concerns Sensitive nerve impulses produced by the senses such as touch, pain, etc. . the anatomy of the nerves responsible for these feelings is important to achieve local anesthesia of the nose and proceed seamlessly to perform a rhinoplasty for cosmetic or not.

The nasal sensory innervation comes from two main sources:
ethmoidal nerve previous
The N. Nasal or nasociliary is a branch of N. Ophthalmic .
Makes 4 or 5 side branches including N. infratrochlear that supplies the top and sides of the nasal root .
The N. Nasal or nasociliary gives a terminal branch
The N. Previous Etimoidal entering the nasal cavity and supplies to nasal septum, to the side walls and continue forward and down to supply the nasal bone and nasal cartilage branch ends as external nasal innervating the skin of the lower half nose, nasal skin lobe, there are cutaneous branches to the medial side of both eyelids, innervates the medial part of the conjunctiva. As internal nasal branch falls cribriform plate and enters the nostrils to supply nasal septum, lateral wall nasal and nasal lobe skin.
The N. infraorbital branch terminal is N. jaw is externalized by the infraorbital pray f a finger through the bottom flange of the orbit in mid-pupillary line and supplies skin nostrils, upper lip , mucosa, vestibular gingiva mesial ; the canine , zygomatic region (cheek) and lower eyelid.

sphenopalatine ganglion pterygopalatine or nasal or
It is in the pterygopalatine fossa palate gives posterior nasal branches that innervates superior turbinate, middle and bottom.
nasopalatine nerve : N. branch jaw was born in the pterygopalatine fossa maxillary enters the nasal cavity , anterior branch supplies the middle turbinate mucosa and higher, its inner branch runs diagonally septum, runs the previous palatine canal innervate upper incisors and canines, goes down and enters the incisive canal and anastomoses with the anterior palatine nerve .
Under nasal dorsum, underneath the root enters nasal N. Previous ethmoid to the nasal cavity .
rhinoplasty (Part 9) see how the nose is infiltrated with local anesthesia to perform a rhinoplasty .
